Pre-Celebration of Mini F's 3rd Birthday.

Consecutive 3 months we were celebrating each other's Birthdays.
Elder F was on Feb, mine was on March and Mini F just passed 2 days ago.

We had two celebrations each for both Double F.
Why celebrate twice? It's because one time with their doting grandparents and another celebrated ourselves as a family.
I wanted to order the unicorn balloons as most of the balloons I've bought for them before but time was too rush and the party shops do not carry unicorn balloons.... what a shame. So no balloons but I will compensate in another way on another occasion.

Time really flies and now she is 3. Soon she will no longer be a toddler and I'm gonna missed it badly.
Mini F, please slow down and not grow up so quickly.
I will miss it when you always play or fight with your sister over toys and fun then make up over again.
I will miss it to be able to hug & cuddle you as my bolster, wrestle and hold you hostage while you can't escape.
I will miss it when you stick to Mummy like a superglue, like I am your Super Mummy.
I will miss it to see you be happy and joyful over little things/actions and sounds.
I miss it to be still able to carry you with your miniature size and weight while you playing with my hair or whatever is on me.
I will miss it when you laugh and cry and look for Mummy for comfort and protection and rest in my arms with peace after my coaxing.
I'm just gonna to miss the infant you and treasure the short coming couple of years of the toddler you and so on. I'm blessed to be at every step of the way and experience everything with you and not missing any precious moments of you growing up.
Thank you Double F for coming into my life giving me memories and lessons that are priceless.
I just want both of you to know that everything will be fine, because Mummy is always here for you.
With the love of God, be blessed & Happy Birthday my love.

Gardens By The Bay

-Overdued Post-

This post has overload of pictures with colourful and various species of flowers and leaves. If you're allergic to seeing too many flowers, you may want to refrain from scrolling down. Haa!

We have been talking about visiting Gardens by the Bay one week ago and the week after we were there! I wasn't really anticipating to go as I thought it would be boring as Botanical Gardens like it will be hot and humid to walk around under the sun with perspirations.

When I got there, 90% of the place is sheltered. I could not feel any sunlight on my skin. After a short shady walk, we have reached the entrance of the two attractions venues.
It's the Flower Dome & Cloud Forest.

Flower Dome is a glass house exhibition, huge, tall and spacious. The best part is that everywhere is air-conditioned! The sun so bright but it was very cooling inside. I enjoyed walking all the way viewing those beautiful flowers and get to know their names. Most of them I've never seen before.

My favourite one.

After Flower Dome we headed to the Cloud Forest. In the middle we did rest and have a bite on the hot-dog buns and ice-creams. Well... it was chilling but we still chose to eat the ice-creams.

Well, the Cloud Forest was even colder. Invited with a huge waterfall at the entrance and the vapors from the waterfalls make us shivered. We quickly took a few shots and went on to the higher ground leaving the waterfall area. The view was fantastic despite the battle with the coldness.

We went to the highest ground and walk our way down. The walk was scary at first because we are walking on transparent glass base. We can see the heights we are through it. Our legs naturally will go soft but after awhile, it was normal. I've notice some people were so frightened they remained walking carefully on the opaque area of the ground. Haa...

I deliberately walk on the transparent area and my Mummy ask me to walk on the opaque area instead. She think it's safer but I think it's all in the mind. It's was hilarious but then that's the fun of it yah?
You will notice majority of the people will squeeze into a line and walk in the middle... very few walked at the sides or close to the sidewalk handles. So if you guys want to over-take others, it quite easy and effortless, no one will fight the sides with you.

The experience was like walking on clouds, that's why it's call Cloud Forest.
You gotta experience it yourself to feel the maximum viewing pleasure.

After walking for 2-3 hours, our stomachs were growling out of hunger. We walked again to Satay by the Bay to have our dinner. The food there is expensive. The satay were a disappointment. I'd rather eat at Satay Club. The $8 Hokkien Mee still up to my expectations.

That sums up my visit to Gardens by the Bay.
If you have not visited, I would recommend to.
PS: Do remember to bring your jackets, it would save you big time!
